This mattress cover adds 1 oz. of Amicor* pure fiber to the quilting below the TB603 /FR1633 fiber. Amicor*pure is anti-fungal. Dust mites need fungus to break down dead human skin cells for food. Without the fungus, there is no food and, as a result, no dust mites. Amicor*pure is built into the core of the fiber and will not wash out.
